Bonsai Architecture Designs was built with the help of many hands. Our reputation was built on performance, trust, and most importantly, creativity. We love what we do and are constantly looking for new sources of inspiration.
Owner/Lead Designer
Corey is the founder and now co-owner of Bonsai Architectural Designs. His collaborative leadership is fundamental to setting the company apart as a leading design firm for both the Southeast as well as his home in Kauai. Due to his innovative leadership, Bonsai ranks #1 on Houzz and GBJ (Georgia Business Journal). As a hands-on leader, Corey oversees Bonsai’s national platform and its day-to-day operations, with a plethora of skilled in-house, drafters, designers, engineers, contractors and more. Bonsai’s home base is located in a restored, but with modern day technology no amount of distance stands between the one on one, day-to-day interaction between Corey’s team and extensive list of ongoing jobs.
Corey knows the importance of utilizing every square inch of a home in order to maximize the usability of the space. With so many factors playing a part in designing a home of Bonsai’s caliber it is necessary for Corey to oversee and be involved in every design. With a vast background in construction, flipping spec homes and numerous remodels, Corey has a working understanding of the all the necessary aspects of design required to make the impossible, possible.

Architect/Production Manager/Architectural Designer
I started my career in 2014 after completing my master’s degree in Architecture. My interest in Architecture and Construction began when I was a teenager working for my father as a construction assistant on residential projects. I loved learning about the process of construction and that lead to my interest in design and the desire to pursue a degree in Architecture. I went on to Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, where I completed my Bachelor of Science in Architecture Degree and Master’s Degree in Architecture.
Bonsai is a great company to work for and I love having the opportunity to work directly with clients and our internal design team. Every day is a challenge and every project we work on is so unique and personal to each client. To me, every individual project is its own accomplishment because it is so fulfilling to see the final product at the end of each design and delivering that product to our clients.
In my spare time I enjoy traveling, hiking, and spending time with friends and family.
Architectural Designer
My career started so long ago now. I often tell people my career started when I was in my single digits. This career quite honestly chose me. I focused on the skills that I have and use every day. While I was considering SCAD Atlanta, I started my college journey at Georgia State University.
At Bonsai, the design team is highly competent making the environment enjoyable to be productive.
My current role is that of an architectural designer. Bonsai’s work environment is comprised of a highly skilled and competent team of designers and architects. Like most of my co-workers, this profession chose me in that the unique skill that I have, lend themselves to the design team to further the quality of our work.
In my free time I enjoy roller skating, reading, and designing/making toys, games, and clothes.
“Everybody has a passion that can actually make the world a better place to live. Designing beautiful Architecture is mine.”
