We are Architects
We create
At Bonsai we offer two main options for blueprints. 1) Standard & 2) Detail Spec’d drawings. Having dealt with all of the local permitting departments for so many years has allowed us to dial in exactly what is required for permitting. For this reason, we try to be competitive as possible with our pricing. In order to do this, we have cut the fat out of the typical set of blueprints you would acquire from most architects. Most architects either charge a percentage of the construction budget or they charge per sheet in the blueprints, making it impossible to know if they’re have the best intentions for you in mind. At Bonsai we calculate our job cost per square foot of the New proposed structure. Then we give you exactly what you need to construct your home and acquire permits without all the extra fluff. So, whether your permit packet is 100 pages long or 13 pages long it’s going to cost the exact same amount to ensure you that every sheet in your packet is actually required and not just there to beef up our pricing. Additionally, charging per square foot locks you in at a fixed rate that you know before ever paying a deposit to ensure that you’re not blowing your budget. Whether your house cost $10 million or $100,000 the price of our drawings will never go up. It’s simply driven by the square footage of your home. This way if we recommend something that would look nice in your home you can know that we are being genuine in our effort to give you the best product possible versus being afraid that we are trying to spec unneeded accessory’s/high-end finishes that will drive your budget up in order to help our job be more expensive. Square footage cost varies per region so, but everyone will receive the standard pricing unless otherwise noted. If you want #2) Detailed Specified Drawings, then we can add details and specs for every room for an additional 25%. Contact us today to learn more.
