We are Architects
We create

This house has a particularly interesting story. Anytime I’m designing a house I’m placing myself in the client’s consciousness in order to decide what is the best possible design for them. This house was one I found on my own and had under contract to purchase. I was so excited for the remodel that I couldn’t help taking measurements and designing my new lake house before I had even closed. Turns out, I found a house I liked even more in the meantime, but I had already past my due diligence. I offered to pass this house off to a friend who was looking for a house in this area for this price range. I explained that I already poured my entire heart into this floor plan as it was supposed to be for me. The new homeowner took one look and loved it but had even a few more suggestions that in my opinion made the home even better. For example, the angled front porch and entryway. This was rewarding watching my dream still come to fruition even though I was not the one who owned it any longer. Whether I’m designing a house for you or me, I always put my heart into it as every home is another chance to practice pushing the limits of today’s architecture.
